About the Position:

The Director of Service is responsible to direct the Service Department efforts to ensure profitability. This position will be an instrumental part of our leadership team. They will be responsible to develop, implement and maintain a strategic service plan while being responsible for execution of the service process.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise staff to develop and sustain a high level of employee performance and morale that is highly aligned with our mission and core values.

  • Manage overall Service Department forecasting and establish tactics to achieve performance targets.

  • Responsible for financials and management of departmental expenses to remain within budgetary guidelines.

  • Ensure acceptable dealer standards are met.

  • Coordinate and implement effective Service processes.

  • Direct and oversee Service activities.

  • Develop, coach, and evaluate the performance of Regional Product Support Managers.

  • Create and ensure strategies to improve Service sales and customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure that customer issues are resolved promptly according to company guidelines.

  • Partner with other departments to ensure prioritization of equipment service orders.

  • Align and implement Company Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, Bulletins and Campaigns.

  • Work closely with all other departments to achieve company objectives.

  • Timely completion of performance evaluations, salary reviews, interviewing and hiring.

  • Monitor training and identify personnel development needs within the Service department.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications or Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent in experience, High School Diploma/GED required.
  • 5 years of leadership experience in an agricultural, construction, or turf related role.
  • A minimum of 5 years of recent Service leadership experience.
  • Excellent management, organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to use standard desktop or laptop computer and related programs, Microsoft Office platform, plus ability to effectively research and navigate the internet.
