Chris Mayo

Scientist at Redona Therapeutics

Chris Mayo has been working in the field of biochemistry since 2006. Chris began their career as a Summer Internship at New England Biolabs. In 2009, they joined the University of Connecticut as a Research Assistant, where they characterized protein kinase R (PKR) using biophysical and biochemical methods. Chris also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Biochemistry Lecture and Laboratory courses. In 2018, they joined Redona Therapeutics (formerly Twentyeight-Seven) as a Scientist.

Chris Mayo received a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2008, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry from the University of Connecticut in 2017.
