Mohamed Al-Sabawi has a diverse work experience background. Mohamed recently started working for Redpanda Data as a Controller in March 2023. Before that, they worked at Amplitude, where they held various roles including Assistant Controller from January 2022 to March 2023, Senior Accounting Manager from January 2020 to January 2022, and Global Accounting Manager from October 2018 to January 2020.

Prior to their time at Amplitude, Mohamed worked at BDO USA, LLP as an Assurance Manager from August 2016 to October 2018, and as an Audit Senior from January 2016 to July 2016. Mohamed also gained experience at BDO Canada as a Senior Accountant from September 2011 to December 2015.

Earlier in their career, Mohamed was involved in extracurricular activities as the President of the Off-Campus Student Association and served as a Teacher's Assistant for the Intermediate Accounting II Course at Wilfrid Laurier University in 2009.

Mohamed began their professional journey with an internship at United Arab Bank in the summer of 2008. Overall, Mohamed's work experience spans a range of accounting and managerial roles, showcasing their expertise in the field.
