Thilo Bangert

Thilo Bangert has a diverse range of work experience spanning over 20 years. In 1999, they founded their own company called FizzelPark, where they served as the owner until 2013. During this time, they also worked as an Ebuild Developer for Gentoo Linux, where they maintained 30 packages and contributed to the QA effort.

In 2006, Thilo joined Dansk e-Learning Center as an IT-Admin, and in 2007, they were hired by Mingoville Denmark as a Java Developer & System Administrator. At Mingoville, they rebuilt the backend to be globally distributed using Java and Spring.

In 2009, Thilo took on the role of Unix Admin at DTU, where they set up and maintained a scientific HPC cluster on a part-time basis. Thilo continued in this position until 2011, when they joined IT-Lauget Parknet as a Network Engineer.

Thilo then became a member of the board at DKNOG in 2013, while also working as a Senior Network Specialist at GlobalConnect A/S. In this role, they were responsible for the live TV transmission network and deployed a broadcast contribution network for a large Danish broadcaster. Thilo later transitioned to a System Developer role at GlobalConnect A/S in 2015, where they worked until 2019.

Most recently, Thilo Bangert joined Redpill Linpro in 2019 as an Integration Specialist.

Thilo Bangert has a diverse education history in the fields of telecommunications, computer science, and general education. Thilo completed a Master of Science degree in Telecommunications at the DTU - Technical University of Denmark from 2003 to 2010. Additionally, in 2005, they briefly studied Computer Science at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

Before pursuing higher education, Thilo attended Duborg Skolen from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained an Abitur & Studentereksamen degree. Prior to that, they attended Adrian High School in 1996 and received a High School diploma.

In terms of certifications, Thilo obtained the MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1 (Mule 4) certification from MuleSoft in April 2019. Thilo also holds the LPIC-1 certification from the Linux Professional Institute, although specific details regarding its acquisition are not available.
