Satish Dharmaraj

Satish Dharmaraj is a seasoned professional in the technology and venture capital sectors, currently serving as Managing Director at Redpoint Ventures since March 2009. Previously, Satish held the position of CEO at Zimbra from November 2003 to February 2009 and had a short tenure as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Redpoint Ventures in early 2004. Earlier roles include Vice President of Messaging Products at Openwave Systems, where responsibilities included managing Email, Voicemail, MMS, and IM from January 2000 to August 2003, and being part of the founding team at onebox.com as Director of Engineering and Network Operations from December 1998 to December 2000. Satish also contributed as Project Lead for Servlets and JSP at Javasoft and served as Software Architect and Staff Engineer at Transarc Corporation focused on the design and development of the Encina TP Monitor. Educational qualifications include a degree from Clemson University.
