Paula Bachman

Paula Bachman has a wealth of experience in the finance and business industry. Paula began their career in 1994 as a Senior Consultant in Transaction Advisory Services at Arthur Andersen LLP, where they provided counsel to equity investors, strategic buyers, and lenders in over 30 acquisition, senior debt, and securitization transactions valued at over $4 billion. In 1999, they joined Merrill Lynch as an Investment Banking Associate. In 2002, they founded Auburn Advisors, LLC, a strategic and financial consulting firm that assisted middle market enterprises and private equity investors with the execution of key strategic initiatives. In 2003, they became a Principal at Onyx Capital Ventures, LLC. In 2006, they were appointed Chief Financial Officer at Packaging Division Industries, LLC, where they restructured the financial systems, organization, processes, and balance sheet. In 2009, they became a Founding Partner at Gage Capital Partners, LLC. In 2012, they joined The Keystone Group as a Senior Principal, providing turnaround management, acquisition diligence, merger integration, and strategic advisory services for middle market manufacturing and distribution companies. In 2015, they were named Chief Financial Officer at Networked Insights, a leading data analytics SaaS enterprise focused on the marketing and media ecosystems. In 2019, they became Chief Financial Officer at Bento for Business, a high-growth, VC-backed fintech company in the B2B payments industry. Most recently, in 2020, they joined RedShelf as Chief Financial Officer, leading strategic and operational finance, content and supply chain, project management, legal, and people functions for a high-growth edtech company. RedShelf was named to Inc. 5000's Fastest Growing Companies in America for three consecutive years and was ranked #60 on the Financial Times (FT) Fastest Growing Companies in America list.

Paula Bachman earned their MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 1999, majoring in Finance, Entrepreneurship & Strategy. Paula previously earned their BBA from the University of Oklahoma in 1994, majoring in Accounting & Finance.
