Sean Costigan

Sean S. Costigan PhD is a prominent expert in cybersecurity and national security, currently serving as the Managing Director of Resilience Strategy and Director of Cyber Policy at Red Sift since January 2023. In addition to this role, Sean is a Professor at the George C. Marshall Center, teaching on topics including global cybersecurity and hybrid warfare since October 2016. As a Publisher for Defense Press and Senior Advisor at the Partnership for Peace Consortium, Sean leads an international team to develop vital resources for policy and education while also serving as the Executive Editor of the quarterly journal, Connections. With experience as a Lecturer at The New School and previous roles including CTO at MIT Press, Sean holds advanced degrees from Harvard University and the University of Portsmouth.
