Chaya Jones is a project manager at Redstone Strategy Group. Chaya previously worked as a research and data analyst at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation from October 2017 to October 2021. At the Gates Foundation, they were responsible for data modeling with data from public, proprietary, and grantee sources and developing new ways to synthesize that data. Chaya also piloted new measurement and evaluation work using Bayesian methods and researched, reviewed literature, and wrote papers on deep-dive topics such as peer learning in Communities of Practice and the relationship between student voice practices and positive outcomes. In addition, they were heavily engaged with the foundation's internal Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion work. Chaya led the K-12 DEI Measurement team for 2 years and developed and piloted a qualitative thematic analysis of open text responses from the survey.

Chaya Jones has a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance at the University of Washington, where they focused on quantitative analysis. Chaya also has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in interdisciplinary visual arts from the University of Washington.
