Ivan founded Redstone over 17 years ago to help innovative social sector leaders achieve ambitious goals.
Since founding Redstone, Ivan has helped many of the world’s largest foundations as they tackle tough problems. He has worked across the spectrum of social issues, from energy and climate to homelessness, to the performing arts, with a particular focus on continuously improved strategies that respond to an ever-changing world. In recent years he has helped construct some of the most ambitious and effective public-private philanthropic partnerships ever, with topics including conservation in the Brazilian Amazon, health services in nine West African countries, and food security in New York City. Ivan has also authored articles on increasing philanthropy’s impact, spoken at many conferences, and co-taught a course about large-scale conservation projects at Yale University.
