MacKenzie “Zuby” Zaruba

Mackenzie Zaruba is a skilled graphic designer with extensive experience in various roles within the design field. Currently serving as a Graphic Designer at redthread since April 2022, Mackenzie previously held positions including Creative Director at Daily Nebraskan Media Group and Art Director for the UNL 2021 National Student Advertising Competition. Notable contributions include developing advertising campaigns for local businesses, crafting interactive experiences targeted at Generation Z for Tinder, and creating promotional materials for athletic teams as a Digital Media Intern at the University of Nebraska Lincoln's Athletic Department. Mackenzie has also gained valuable experience through internships at Hudl, Nebraska Alumni Association, and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, building a strong foundation in graphic design and advertising. Mackenzie holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Journalism in Graphic Design and Advertising/PR from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
