Manaure Quintero

Manaure Quintero is an experienced photographer and videographer with a diverse portfolio spanning various media outlets and locations. Currently serving as a Stringer Photographer for AFP since May 2024, Quintero has also contributed to Bloomberg and The Washington Post since 2016 and 2017, respectively. A freelance professional since 2014, Quintero has produced short documentary stories and video assignments for clients such as UNICEF and UNHCR. Previous roles include Photographer for Reuters News Agency and Thomson Reuters, where coverage focused on major news events in Venezuela, as well as Stringer Photographer for Agencia EFE. Quintero specializes in documenting social and political issues, particularly in impoverished and remote areas, demonstrating resilience in challenging environments.
