Nicola Takada Wood

Nicola Takada Wood is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in Japanese equity sales. Currently serving as a Portfolio Manager and Portfolio Advisor at Redwheel since September 2018, Nicola also holds a position on the Development Board at Benenden School since March 2021. Prior roles include Executive Director at Mizuho from April 2013 to September 2018 and Vice President in Japanese equities sales-trading at Goldman Sachs from 2004 to 2011, with additional experience as an Associate at Kreab Worldwide and a sports agent during the 2002 World Cup. Nicola holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Japanese from the School of Oriental and African Studies, a Bachelor's degree in Japanese Studies from Waseda University, and is qualified with certifications including JSDA Series 1 and 2 and the Securities & Investment Institute Level 3 Certificate in Investments.
