Al Tadros is the Chief Technology Officer at Redwire Space. Al has also served as the Chief Growth Officer and EVP Space Infrastructure at Redwire. Prior to joining Redwire, Tadros was the VP, Space Infrastructure and Civil Space at Maxar Technologies. Al was also with Space Systems/Loral for 26 years where they served as the Vice President, Civil and DoD Business. Some of their other titles include Satellite Systems Engineer and Payload Manager, Dynamics and Controls Engineer, and Attitude Control Systems Engineer. Tadros has also worked as a Robotics Dynamics and Controls Engineer at Ford Aerospace / Space Systems Division.
Al Tadros graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1990 with a degree in mechanical engineering. From 1984 to 1988, they studied aerospace engineering at MIT, conducting research in dynamics and controls, including telerobotics. In 1987, they participated in the inaugural year of the International Space University's Space Systems program.
