Alex Chayres

Alex Chayres, MBA, currently serves as Senior Director of Supply Chain at Redwire Space, a position held since November 2024. Prior to this role, Alex held various leadership positions at Virgin Galactic from October 2016 to November 2024, including Director of Procurement and Manager of Procurement. Experience at United Airlines from July 2010 to October 2016 included Manager of Procurement and Vendor Management, Program Manager for Component Vendor Management, and AOG Logistics Controller. Key responsibilities involved managing vendor relationships, procurement processes, and improving supplier performance. Alex Chayres earned an MBA from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University between 2019 and 2021, following a Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Business Administration from the same institution from 2005 to 2009.
