Christopher Oesch

Christopher Oesch has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Christopher is currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at Redwire Space since June 2022. Previously, they held the role of Vice President of Engineering - Longmont at Redwire Space from September 2021 to June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Roccor, LLC as the Director of Engineering from October 2020 to September 2021 and as the Director, Power Products from September 2019 to October 2020. Christopher also has experience working at Apple as a Product Design Engineer from June 2018 to August 2019. Christopher started their career at Moog Inc., where they served as a Sr. Systems Engineer from March 2016 to June 2018 and as a Systems Engineer from January 2008 to March 2016. Before that, they worked at Caterpillar Inc. as a Senior Associate Engineer from January 2007 to December 2007. Christopher began their professional journey as a Summer Intern at John Deere in 2005 and at Caterpillar Inc. in 2004. Christopher also gained experience as a Summer Intern at North American Lighting, Inc. in 2003.

Christopher Oesch obtained their M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in 2006. Prior to that, they earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics from the same institution between 2002 and 2005.
