Alida Nicklas

Alida Nicklas has a diverse work experience, starting in 2017 as a Campaign Intern for the County of Santa Barbara, where they attended political events, canvassed, and encouraged citizens to vote. In 2018, they worked as a Shift Supervisor at CAJE, gaining leadership and teamwork skills. From 2019 to 2020, they were a Campaign Intern at Street Level Strategy, LLC, where they worked as a paid canvasser and promoted incumbent County Supervisor Das Williams. Additionally, they worked as a Childcare Provider at Nanny Care from 2019 to 2020. In 2021, they became a Paraprofessional Educator at Jacoby Creek Elementary School, and from 2022 to 2022, they served as a Camp Director at the City of Arcata. Currently, they hold the position of Community Strategies Coordinator at Redwood Coast Energy Authority, starting in 2023.

Alida Nicklas is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Environmental Sustainability at Humboldt State University, with an anticipated graduation year of 2022.
