James E. Barnett

James E. Barnett is an experienced professional in conflict mediation and education, currently serving as a Training Committee Member and Conflict Mediator with Humboldt Mediation Services since 2011. In addition, James has held the role of Client Services Specialist at Redwood Community Action Agency since 2016 and has contributed as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Humboldt State University in various psychology courses since 2013. With a strong background in teaching and mentoring, James has worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant across multiple psychology and communication courses. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Eureka First Baptist Church and the HSU Center for Service Learning & Academic Internships. James holds a Master’s Degree in Academic Research in Developmental Psychopathology and a dual Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Communication from Humboldt State University.
