Chanelle Ignant

Chanelle Ignant is a skilled music educator and experienced media professional with a diverse background. Currently serving as a Private Lesson Instructor at Redwood Day since February 2023, Chanelle teaches individual guitar and piano lessons to students in grades K-5. Previous experience includes managing emerging audio professionals as an Intern Program Manager at Women's Audio Mission and leading the Youth Takeover of KQED News as Youth Media Manager. In earlier roles at KQED, Chanelle focused on youth media creation and engagement, while also contributing to Richmond Pulse and interning with organizations such as New America Media and WPFW 89.3. Chanelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from San Francisco State University.
