Austin Chung

Austin Chung is an accomplished technical program manager currently at Redwood Materials, specializing in battery recycling since June 2021. Prior to this role, Austin served as an assistant professor at the University of Notre Dame from January 2019 to June 2021. Austin's military experience includes serving as a surface warfare officer in the US Navy, where responsibilities spanned both the Reactor Control Division and as an Assistant Operations Officer, overseeing the training of sailors and the management of complex nuclear reactor systems. Austin holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business, a Joint Professional Military Education degree from the U.S. Naval War College, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University.
