Rachael Stewart

Rachael Stewart, M.S., P.Eng., is a Senior Process Development Engineer at Redwood Materials, specializing in the product development of battery copper foil since June 2023. Previously, Rachael held roles at Rivian, including Senior Forensic Analysis Engineer, where forensic vehicle analysis and root cause investigations were conducted, and Durability Engineer, overseeing component validation testing and cross-disciplinary collaboration. Rachael’s experience also includes engineering positions at AK Steel Corporation, where product development and advanced high strength steel innovations were driven, and RAE Engineering & Inspection Ltd., focusing on failure analysis and reliability engineering. With a Master of Science in Materials Engineering from Colorado School of Mines and a Bachelor of Science in Materials Engineering from the University of Alberta, Rachael possesses a strong foundation in materials science and engineering methodologies.
