Doug Simonton

Doug Simonton is a highly experienced technology professional with a robust background in software architecture and development. Currently serving as Principal Architect at Redwood Software since January 2023, Doug previously held the position of Lead Software Architect at Tidal Software from January 2019 to January 2023, and at Cisco Systems from 2005 to December 2018. At Cisco, Doug contributed to the Service Provider CTO Tricorder team, focusing on cloud-native technologies and microservice standards. Doug's earlier experience includes roles as Lead Developer/Architect at Tidal Software and Senior/Lead Software Engineer at BMC Software, where Doug led the development of significant products. Doug's career began as a Software Engineer at Platinum Technology Inc. and included technical support roles at Software Interfaces and FutureSoft, Inc.
