Cliff Jones

Cliff Jones joined Redx in July 2015 and become Head of Chemistry and DMPK in 2016 with responsibility for medicinal, synthetic, computational chemistry & DMPK delivery across fibrosis and oncology targets. Cliff has broad medicinal chemistry and drug discovery expertise including hit-finding strategies/ hit identification, lead generation/optimization, and the delivery of clinical candidates, along with extensive experience in intellectual property strategies.

Prior to Redx, Cliff gained 17 years of drug discovery experience with AstraZeneca, leading teams working against a wide range of oncology targets that delivered multiple clinical candidates into development. He completed his first degree and Ph.D. at the University of Nottingham.
