Rob Legon has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Rob is currently working as an Operations Excellence Coach at QAD Redzone, where they are responsible for the full lifecycle of QAD Redzone deployment, including training and continuous improvement coaching. Prior to this, Rob worked as an Operations Manager at Twin Monkeys Beverage Systems, Inc., overseeing various departments and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Rob also served as a Production Manager at Vestas, where they achieved significant improvements in production and safety. Rob has previous experience with IMI Precision Engineering, where they held multiple roles including Manufacturing Manager, Lean Champion, HSE and Lean Manager, Lean Site Coordinator & Assembly/Warehouse Supervisor, and Production Lean Engineer. Rob also has experience as a Sports Coach in South Africa and as an Internship Trainee Buyer at Tesco PLC. Additionally, Rob has worked as an Event Steward at Sword Event Guard International during the Olympic Games and as a Census Collector at the Office for National Statistics.
Rob Legon completed their Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Nottingham from 2010 to 2014. In 2017, they attended the University of Washington for a brief period to obtain a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification in Lean Manufacturing. Additionally, they hold several certifications, including being a Redzone Certified Frontline Leader and a Redzone Certified Frontline Operator, both obtained in June 2023 from QAD Redzone. Rob also holds a Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification from APICS, which they obtained in January 2022.
