Efren Acosta

Efren Acosta is a seasoned attorney with extensive experience in law firm leadership. Currently serving as a Partner at Reed Smith LLP since March 2021, Acosta has previously held partner positions at Baker Botts from February 2017 to March 2021, and Norton Rose Fulbright US LLP from January 2010 to February 2017. Acosta's career began as an Associate at Locke Liddell & Sapp LLP from August 2000 to March 2006, followed by a role as Senior Associate at Fulbright & Jaworski LLP until December 2009. Acosta earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Houston Law Center (1997-2000) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Houston (1992-1997), with foundational education completed at Hastings High School (1988-1992).
