Jennifer Yule Depriest

Jennifer Yule DePriest serves as the Office Managing Partner and Partner at Reed Smith LLP in Chicago since 2008. DePriest's notable achievements include securing a $66 million jury verdict and global permanent injunction in a trade secret misappropriation case and successfully defending a household appliance manufacturer against an $83 million Lanham Act claim. Other representative matters include winning significant copyright infringement and patent cases for various clients, including Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies. Prior to joining Reed Smith, DePriest was an Associate at Sachnoff & Weaver, Ltd. from 2000 to 2007, where significant accomplishments included obtaining a dismissal in a federal securities fraud case and successfully defending a long-standing judgment on appeal.
