Andrey Chelpanov

Andrey Chelpanov is an experienced maritime professional specializing in gas ship operations. Currently serving as Gas Ships Building Supervisor and Captain of LPG/C/NH3/VLGC/Ethylene carrier at Stena Bulk since June 2021, Andrey Chelpanov also holds a significant position as Master LPG/NH3 LGC at Reederei F. Laeisz Gmbh, where employment began in December 1996. Previous roles include Marine Superintendent at Dorian LPG and New Build LPG Supervisor at Yara. Andrey Chelpanov obtained a Master’s Degree in Navigation from Saint-Petersburg State University of Water Communications, completing studies from 1995 to 2001, and earlier attended 58 School in Tallinn from 1984 to 1995.
