Jacob Simpson

Jacob Simpson, PE, currently serves as Chief Specialty Inspector at Reedy Creek Improvement District since December 2012, overseeing technical requirements for amusement attractions, aerial tramways, elevators, and swimming pools at Walt Disney World, while leading a specialty inspection team focused on engineering, safety, and regulatory compliance. Prior experience includes roles as an Academic Tutor from January 2014 to May 2015, Mechanical Test Engineer for The Henry M. Jackson Foundation from May 2011 to November 2012, and Attractions Host Cast Member at The Walt Disney Company between August 2009 and November 2012. Additional positions include Machinist at Auburn University's Polymer Fiber Research Group, Fuel System Technician for North American Aircraft Services, and Theater Projectionist at The Exchange. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Troy University.
