Wahab Ahmad

Wahab Ahmad has extensive work experience in the field of technology and support. Wahab currently works as a Field Technology Lead at REEF since March 2021. Previously, they served as an Infrastructure Support Specialist at Long View Systems from April 2018 to March 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Business Analyst at Lexmark from March 2016 to January 2018, where they were involved in various projects including Alberta Health Services, London Drug, Saskatoon Regional Health, and Bank of Nova Scotia. From October 2011 to February 2016, Wahab worked as a freelance Technical Consultant at Field Nation, handling work orders remotely or traveling to client locations. Wahab also had a brief stint at RBC as a Desk Side Support from May 2015 to October 2015. Additionally, Wahab worked at Cenovus Energy as a Service Desk/Deskside Analyst from July 2011 to April 2015, where they provided support and resolved technical issues. Their journey in the industry began as a Desktop/Technical Support at Techsource Canada from March 2009 to July 2011.

Wahab Ahmad completed a Diploma in IT from Petroman Institute of Technology in 1996. Wahab also pursued a Bachelor's degree in Science (Physics) from Karachi University, graduating between 1992 and 1995. As for additional certifications, Wahab obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in 2020. Additionally, they participated in courses on AS 400 Operating System/RPG, Visual Basic, Java, and Oracle 8i at Seneca Polytechnic.
