Robert Weeks

Robert Weeks has a diverse work experience across various companies and roles. Robert is currently the Co-founder & CTO of Reel Foods since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Harvard University as a Postdoctoral Fellow from November 2022 to December 2022. Robert also obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering from Harvard University from September 2018 to October 2022. Additionally, at Harvard University, they worked as a Research Engineering Fellow from May 2017 to September 2018. Robert has worked as a Consultant at Desktop Metal in December 2021. Robert was a Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo from May 2016 to May 2017. Robert gained valuable experience as a Senior Hardware Engineering Intern at Voxel8: 3D Printing Electronics from September 2016 to December 2016. Prior to that, they worked as a Hardware Engineering Intern at Voxel8: 3D Printing Electronics from January 2016 to April 2016. Robert has also co-founded their own company, Finuvo, where they served as the CEO and developed an automated hydrographics dipping station. Robert managed a small team and oversaw the design and production of prototypes. Robert additionally worked as an Industrial Designer at Cloake Consulting from October 2014 to October 2015. Before that, they worked as an Engineering and Manufacturing Assistant at Raven Telemetry Inc. from September 2014 to December 2014. Robert's early work experience includes a Mechanical Project Engineering Co-op position at Magna International (Polycon Industries) from December 2013 to May 2014.

Robert Weeks completed their high school education at École secondaire Confédération from 2009 to 2012, earning a high school diploma. Robert then pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Waterloo, where they studied from 2012 to 2017. Robert furthered their education by enrolling in Harvard University from 2018 to 2022, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
