Cindy W. has an extensive work experience in the media industry. Cindy began their career at Lifetime Television as an Executive Assistant for the Vice President of Original Programming & Production from June 1993 to April 1997. Cindy then moved on to NBC Universal, where they held several roles, including Manager of Syfy Programming & Scheduling from April 1997 to May 2000, Manager of Program Acquisitions & Scheduling for the USA Network from May 2000 to February 2003, and Director of Program Acquisitions & Scheduling for the USA Network from February 2003 to March 2006. After their time at NBC Universal, they founded their own company, Cindy Wallis Media Consulting, where they worked as a Consultant starting from March 2006. Currently, they are at REELZ as the Head of Program Acquisitions, a role they have held since February 2016. In this position, they evaluate, acquires, and negotiates deals for the network's acquired programming across various platforms. Cindy also collaborates on network strategy and scheduling.

Cindy W. attended the University at Albany, SUNY from 1987 to 1991. During their time there, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts, focusing on this field of study.
