Bethany J. Schuttinga

Bethany J. Schuttinga currently serves as Chief of Staff and Senior Partner at Refined Technologies since July 2021, and as an Advisor and Partner at Anduril Partners since January 2021. Schuttinga is also the Co-Founder and President of Arête Consulting, a role held since January 2007. Previously, Schuttinga was a Senior Partner at CruzAlta until February 2025, and served as President at Avail Academy from March 2017 to July 2022. Schuttinga worked as a Senior Advisor at Lippo Group/Yayasan Pendidikan Pelita Harapan from December 2014 to December 2016, and held multiple roles including Vice President Administration, Interim Provost, and Vice President/Associate Provost at Dordt University from July 2007 to December 2014. Earlier, Schuttinga was the Director of Judicial Affairs at Iowa State University from July 2000 to June 2007. Educational credentials include a PhD from Iowa State University, a BA from Dordt University, an IEM from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and an MS from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
