Laura Yates

Laura Yates has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Laura currently works as a Finance Manager at Reform | kitchens, where they are responsible for managing the finance function in DACH and Western Europe. Laura ensures compliance with financial regulations and policies, prepares budgets and forecasts, and supports strategic decision-making for expansion in these markets.

Prior to their current role, Laura worked at Verizon Connect as a Consultant Finance Manager from 2019 to 2021. Laura also served as a Group Controller at Quandoo GmbH from 2016 to 2018, where they oversaw accounting and controlling for APAC and Italian entities. Laura'sresponsibilities included month-end and year-end reporting, external audit liaison, statutory compliance, accounts payable, payroll, and international tax advisory.

Laura has also worked as an Accountant at Atheneum and as a Senior Financial Accountant at Pentair Valves & Controls. Laura began their career as an Assistant Management Accountant at Bolton College and later worked as an Investment Accountant at BNY Mellon. Laura'sresponsibilities at BNY Mellon included reconciling fund manager reports, calculating accruals, bank reconciliations, and client relationship management.

Laura Yates attended Bedford High School from 1995 to 2000. Laura did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study during this time. After completing high school, Laura obtained a certification as an Associate Chartered Management Accountant from CIMA in December 2013, followed by a certification as a Chartered Global Management Accountant, also from CIMA, in the same month and year. Later, in December 2018, they obtained an IFRS Certificate from AICPA.
