Pedro Furtado

Pedro Furtado has extensive work experience in the technology sector, spanning several roles and companies. Pedro most recently served as the Chief Technology Officer at Reform (Copenhagen) since September 2020. In this role, they were responsible for the vision and implementation of technology and IT, overseeing system infrastructure, quality assurance, data protection, and monitoring KPIs and IT budgets. Pedro also communicated the technology strategy to partners and investors.

Prior to Reform (Copenhagen), Pedro worked at Playzido as the Director of Technology from February 2020 to September 2020 and as the Head of Technology from April 2017 to February 2020. At Playzido, they were in charge of the technology operations across partners and ensured the highest technical standards, robust and stable technology, and appropriate security and risk management.

Before Playzido, Pedro worked at The Games Company as the Operations Director from August 2014 to November 2016. In this role, they were responsible for recruiting and setting up the Portuguese development and creative operations. Pedro also served as the CTO, making decisions on all aspects of technology, software architecture, and leading a team of full stack developers.

Pedro also co-founded A Tasca - Collective in June 2011 and worked there until November 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Game Developer at Gamesys from June 2012 to July 2013, a Senior Consultant at AGAP2 from August 2010 to June 2012, a Senior Flash Performance Consultant at NDS services Pay TV Technology from February 2012 to April 2012, a Senior Flex Developer at Altares Dun and Bradstreet from August 2010 to October 2011, a UX and Front-end Developer at Player Avenue, Inc from July 2010 to October 2011, and a Flex Developer at Riplife Gaming Technologies from March 2010 to April 2010.
