Heather Rohman Mhds

Heather Rohman has an extensive work experience in the fields of education, medical laboratory science, and healthcare consulting. Heather is currently the Director of Education at Refresh Mental Health. In their previous role as a National CME Specialist at Kaiser Permanente, they led projects aimed at improving the learning management system and standardizing customer experience across eight geographic regions. Prior to that, they worked at Sentara Health as a CME Team Coordinator and a CME Consultant, where they managed accredited programs and developed quality improvement efforts for physician re-certification. Heather also has experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist at AdventHealth and as a Laboratory Start-Up Lead at HCA Physician Services Group.

Heather Rohman MHDS, MLS(ASCP), ASQ CQIA completed their education as follows:

- From 2017 to 2019, they attended Eastern Virginia Medical School and earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Healthcare Delivery Science.

- In 2014 and 2015, they studied at Tidewater Community College, receiving an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Art Therapy/Therapist.

- In 2010 and 2011, they attended Seminole State College of Florida for non-degree seeking/casual studies in Programming, Ceramic Arts, and Ceramics.

- From 2004 to 2008, they pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Medical Laboratory Science at the University of Central Florida.

Furthermore, Heather has obtained various certifications throughout their career, including a Snagit Certification from TechSmith in 2023 and a Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA) certification from ASQ - World Headquarters in 2017. Heather is also a licensed Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the state of Florida, obtained in August 2008.
