Aicha Lubbinge

Aicha Lubbinge is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in various roles within the Dutch government and related organizations. Currently serving as Head of Communications at Stichting Vluchteling since May 2024, Aicha has previously held significant positions such as communications advisor for the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality, and spokesperson roles at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Aicha's background includes coordinating communications for the EU Presidency and leading media liaison efforts during the Nuclear Security Summit in 2014. Aicha holds a Master's degree in Cultural Anthropology from Utrecht University and a degree from Saxion University of Applied Sciences. Additionally, Aicha has a musical background, having played alto saxophone in Colegio latino Band from 1998 to 2007.
