Aijazullah Tareen

Aijazullah Tareen currently serves as the Refugee Health and Wellness Program Coordinator at Interfaith Action of Central Texas, a position held since December 2022. Prior to this role, Aijazullah worked as a Pashto/Dari and Farsi Translator/Interpreter at CWU, Inc. from September 2021 to February 2022 and as a Security Officer at Seal Security Solutions from July 2018 to March 2020. Aijazullah has extensive experience as a linguist and cultural advisor, notably serving with the US Army and US Marines from September 2013 to February 2018 at Mission Essential. In this capacity, Aijazullah provided translation and cultural advising in various military contexts. Aijazullah also held positions at Perkins Engineering and Logistics Services as a Supervisor from January 2011 to April 2013 and is involved with Refugee Services of Texas, serving both as a Cash & Medical Assistance Program Coordinator and previously as a Cash and Medical Assistance Case Manager since January 2022.
