Doreen Meeks-Hewes

Doreen Meeks-Hewes is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in nonprofit and educational sectors. Currently serving as the Interim Chief Financial Officer and Director of Finance at Refugee Services of Texas since August 2022, Doreen previously held the position of Controller and Blackbaud Administrator at John Paul II High School from August 2006 to August 2022. Doreen's career began at The Salvation Army - Texas Divisional Headquarters, where a tenure from April 1986 to June 2006 culminated in the role of Controller. Doreen earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of South Florida and is certified in Blackbaud's Education Edge, Financial Edge, and related OnProducts.
