Katerina Topchaya

Katerina Topchaya has extensive experience in finance and accounting roles. Katerina started their career as Chief Accountant at CapitaLand in 2008 before moving on to Quick, where they served as Chief Accountant from 2009 to 2012. Katerina then joined Lamoda Group as Group Chief Accountant in 2012, where they managed a team of 55 people and was responsible for financial and tax statement preparation, transfer pricing, and the implementation of an ERP system. In 2018, Topchaya became Deputy CFO and Head of Business Processes Re-engineering and Automation at Digikala.com, a rapidly growing e-commerce platform. Here, they managed a team of 70 people and played a key role in re-engineering business processes, preparing the company for a Big4 audit and IPO, and participating in ERP selection. From 2020 to 2022, Topchaya served as CFO at Studio Moderna Russia, before joining REG.RU in 2022 as Deputy Chief Financial Officer. In their current role, they are responsible for managing a team of 30 people, local accounting and taxation for the holding company, finance process optimization and automation, and overseeing the development of the finance system.

From 2002 to 2005, Katerina Topchaya attended North-Caucasus State Technical University (formerly known as Stavropol State Technical University). During their time there, they completed a degree in Economics and Management, specifically focusing on becoming an Economist-Manager.
