Francisco Valtierra

Francisco Valtierra has extensive experience in finance and leadership roles. FRANCISCO is currently the Director of Finance at Regal Beloit Corporation since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked at GE Power for almost 9 years as the Senior Finance Manager, overseeing the finance function for a manufacturing site with over 300 employees. During their time at GE Power, Francisco achieved significant inventory reduction, stable VAT recovery, and clean audit opinions. Before GE Power, they served as the Controller at Munters de Mexico, where they successfully led the finance function for a manufacturing and retail site, improving finance predictability and implementing internal controls. Francisco also held various finance positions at GE Toshiba Turbine Components de Mexico, GE International México, Vitro Flex, Dal-Tile Mexico, and Residuos industriales Multiquim RIMSA, where they gained experience in general ledger activities, finance analysis, fixed assets, and sales office administration.

FRANCISCO VALTIERRA obtained a Bachelor's degree in Certified Public Accountant from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León in 1999. Later, they earned a Master's degree in Finance from the same institution in 2007. In 2015, they attended Thunderbird School of Global Management, where they completed a program on Understanding Global Leadership. Additionally, they obtained a certificate in Organizational Leadership from Enhancing Your Leadership Strengths in the same year. FRANCISCO VALTIERRA also has a certification in Six Sigma from GE, although the specific date of attainment is not provided.
