Steven Koontz

Steven Koontz is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in product engineering, quality management, and operational support across various industries. Currently serving as the Manager of Product Engineering at Regal Beloit since February 2015, Steven leads material cost-reduction projects, collaborating with multiple departments on global supply chain improvements. Previously, Steven held roles at Emerson Industrial Automation, including Manager of Product Engineering and Quality Manager, where responsibilities encompassed sustaining engineering for bearing products, quality system management, and process improvements. Steven's early career included positions in product engineering and project management, with a foundational role in aerospace testing at General Applied Science Labs. Steven holds a Master of Science in Aeronautics and Astronautics from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from Purdue University.
