Joao Matos is a seasoned culinary professional with extensive experience in various prestigious roles within the hospitality industry. Currently serving as a Sous Chef at Regency Group Holding since May 2017, Joao has been instrumental in the pre-opening and establishment of a catering company while overseeing purchasing and supplier management. Previous positions include Junior Sous Chef at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, where responsibilities involved catering for up to 400 guests and adhering to HACCP standards, and Sous Chef roles at Cordel and Restaurant Gustav, where Joao contributed to fine dining and menu development. Joao's culinary journey began with a solid educational foundation at Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo de Coimbra, where a degree in Cook and Pastry was obtained.
