Dennis Manjaly Joshy is a dedicated researcher specializing in mechanical engineering with a focus on bioengineering and cancer morphogenesis. Currently a Graduate Student Researcher at the Comparative Genomics and Epigenomics Lab since September 2022, Dennis previously contributed to the Yeung Lab and Campas Lab at UC Santa Barbara from September 2017 to April 2023, engaging in projects that merged computational and experimental techniques in synthetic biology and investigated cancer invasion mechanics. With extensive teaching experience in various engineering courses and prior industry exposure through internships at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and other companies, Dennis has cultivated a robust skill set in mechanical systems and research methodologies. Holding a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara, alongside a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in the same field, Dennis combines strong academic credentials with practical experience in high-stakes environments.
