Els Vandecandelaere

Els Vandecandelaere currently serves as the VP of HR Research and Preclinical Development at Regeneron, a position held since June 2025. Prior to this, Vandecandelaere was the Head of People for North America at Philips, overseeing HR for 5,000 employees and guiding enterprise initiatives. Additionally, Vandecandelaere held several senior HR leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson from 1995 to January 2020, including roles such as Global HR Integration Head for the Actelion acquisition and Senior HR Vice President for Janssen in the EMEA region. Vandecandelaere's experience spans various HR functions, including talent acquisition and organizational strategy, supported by a Master's degree in Organizational Psychology from KU Leuven.
