Kristen D'Elia, PhD, currently serves as Scientist I in Genome Engineering at BlueRock Therapeutics since December 2022. Previously, Kristen held roles at NYU Langone Health, including Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Graduate Research Assistant, focusing on locomotor circuit development under the guidance of Jeremy Dasen, PhD, and David Schoppik, PhD. Kristen has experience as an Adjunct Professor at Fordham University, where a Cell & Developmental Biology Laboratory Course was designed and taught, as well as various teaching assistant positions at New York University. Kristen completed undergraduate research at multiple institutions, including Providence College and Brown University, contributing to studies in neuronal differentiation and migration. Kristen earned a PhD in Neuroscience & Physiology from the NYU School of Medicine and holds additional degrees in Biomedical Sciences and a dual degree in Biology and Psychology from Providence College.
