Stephen Winston

Stephen Winston, PhD, is a research scientist specializing in AAV gene therapy, vectorology, and production. A graduate of Northeastern University and St. Jude Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, they earned their Ph.D. in Dr. Andrew Davidoff’s lab at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where they developed strategies to enhance vector purity during AAV production. Winston has held positions at Visterra and Editas Medicine, focusing on genome engineering and vector design for therapeutic applications. Currently, they are a Senior Scientist at Regeneron, actively seeking to advance the safety and efficacy of gene and cell therapies.
