Mamta Mehra PhD is an accomplished climate change and environmental specialist with extensive experience in research and project management. Currently serving as Co-Founder and Lead of Land Use and Oceans at RegenIntel since February 2023, Mehra previously held the position of Research Director at the Global Council for Science and the Environment from December 2021 to January 2023. Notable roles at Project Drawdown from June 2015 to December 2021 include Senior Fellow and Research Program Officer, where contributions were made to climate change adaptation and mitigation solutions. Additional experience includes positions at the Keeling Curve Prize, Palladium, ONE DROP, The Aspen Institute, and UNDP, with a focus on sustainable agriculture, community development, and capacity building in climate-related issues. Educationally, Mehra earned a PhD from TERI University, focusing on resource management, and an M.Sc. in Water Resource Management from the same institution.
