Andrew Gonzalez

Andrew Gonzalez is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in health services research and vascular surgery. Currently serving as the Associate Director at Regenstrief Institute, Inc. since October 2019, Andrew is also engaged in the Regenstrief Venture Fellows Program, supporting researchers in commercializing their innovations. Additionally, as a Gilbert S. Omenn Fellow at the National Academy of Medicine, Andrew integrates biomedical science with population health. Andrew's academic roles include Assistant Professor of Surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine and Vascular Surgeon at Eskenazi Health. Previous positions include Vascular Surgery Fellow at Michigan Medicine and General Surgery Resident at UI Health. Andrew holds an MD from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, an MPH in Healthcare Policy and Administration, a Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
