Andreas Bernhard

Andreas Bernhard is the current Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Regent Lighting. Andreas has been with the company since February 2017 and was promoted to CIO/CDO – Member of the Executive Board & COO a.I. in April 2022. In this role, they are responsible for developing and implementing the IT and digitization strategy for Regent Lighting.

Previously, Bernhard served as Head IT Operations for local.ch und search.ch (Swisscom Directories AG) from August 2015 to January 2017. Prior to that, they were Head of the Group IT Operation Department for Nationale Suisse Group from January 2010 to July 2015. Before that, they served as Head of Operation Implementation and Services for Helvetia Versicherungen Schweiz from January 2003 to December 2009.

Bernhard has extensive experience in IT and operations management. Andreas is an expert in developing and implementing strategies, optimizing processes, and managing applications and infrastructures. Andreas also has experience in cybersecurity and supply chain management.

Andreas Bernhard completed a diploma in business informatics at the Hochschule Furtwangen. Their field of study was in wirtschaftsinformatik, or business information systems.

Andreas Bernhard reports to Christoph Schüpbach, CEO. They work with Viktor Bernhardt - CFO, Markus Abt - CTO, and Michael Staudinger - CSO.
