Rachael Nava

Rachael Nava is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at the University of California. Rachael has over fifteen years of experience in healthcare administration and management.

Ms. Nava began their career as a Veterinary Team Manager at Santa Cruz Biotechnology. Rachael then transitioned to Dientes Community Dental Clinic, where they served as the Associate Executive Director. In 2004, Ms. Nava joined Central California Allliance for Health, where they served as Chief Operating Officer for ten years. In 2015, they joined the University of California as EVP and COO.

Ms. Nava has a proven track record in leading large organizations and teams. Rachael is an expert in healthcare policy and administration, and has a deep understanding of the Medicaid system. Ms. Nava is a strong advocate for access to quality healthcare for all, and has dedicated their career to improving healthcare delivery in California.

Rachael Nava attended the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they earned a Bachelors degree in Biology.
