Elad Firnberg

Elad Firnberg, PhD, has a diverse work experience in the fields of biotechnology and research. Elad currently serves as a Principal Scientist at REGENXBIO Inc., where they have held various roles since 2019, including Senior Scientist and Scientist II, Gene Transfer Technologies. Prior to this, Dr. Firnberg worked at LifeBridge Health as a Scientific Advisor in GI Research, focusing on the study of the gut microbiome and the development of microbial therapies. Elad also has experience as a Board Member and Co-founder & CEO at Revolve Biotechnologies, Inc., where they developed patented technology for therapeutic molecule discovery and led the growth of the company's commercial services. Dr. Firnberg began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Doctoral Student at Johns Hopkins University and gained research experience as an Undergraduate Researcher at City College of New York/New York University REU Program.

Elad Firnberg obtained their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, which they attended from 2003 to 2008. Following this, they pursued their PhD in Chemical Engineering at The Johns Hopkins University, completing their studies from 2008 to 2013.
